Build your castle
Our featured in-store build lets kids and families stack towers, bridges, gates, and full castle walls with loose bricks from the community build table.
Saturday, 10am to 1pm
- Drop in for guided build prompts and easy starter layouts
- Best for ages 6+, with family teams welcome at every table
- Take a photo with the finished castle wall before teardown
What to expect
Bring your imagination — we’ll supply the loose bricks, baseplates, and a few “starter wall” layouts so nobody starts from a blank table. Staff rotate with prompt cards (towers, courtyards, drawbridges) if you want a nudge, or you can free-build the whole hour.
This is a drop-in event: stay for ten minutes or the full session. We teardown together at the end so parts go back to the community bins — snap a photo of your turret first.
Good to know
- Ages: geared to ~6+; younger builders welcome with a grown-up at the table.
- Capacity: first come, first served at the build tables — no RSVP in this demo storefront.

Say it with bricks

AFOL display night — bring a finished build or WIP on a small plate and trade story beats with other adult fans. Quick lighting tips, gentle feedback, and zero pressure.
- Tables for display plates and micro-dioramas
- “Two-minute spotlight” sign-up sheet at the door
AFOL display night
A low-key evening for grown-up builders who want to show, tell, and geek out without the weekend foot traffic. Bring something you’re proud of — MOC, mod, or modular slice — and we’ll clear space on the long tables.
Not a contest; just community eyeballs and good conversation. If you’re camera-shy, skip the spotlight and keep it to table chatter.
Sunday 2pm
Minifigure swap meet

Trade figs, parts, and accessories in a supervised swap zone — labeled bags, quick vibe check, and staff on hand for “is this LEGO®?” questions.
- Dedicated swap tables + small parts trays
- Staff verify trades stay family-friendly
Swap meet flow
Show up with labeled baggies (your name + rough want/have on an index card works). We’ll run a simple round: mingle, propose trades, staff initials anything that crosses the table so we can keep the energy positive.
Looking for a specific torso or cape? Pin a note to the board — someone might dig through their bin after donuts.

Launch-night countdown

Count down the minutes to a big retail launch with trivia, small builds, and the ceremonial “first box off the pallet” photo — themed snacks mock-only in this demo.
- Trivia rounds between teardown speed-builds
- Limited launch-color brick deco at the counter
Launch night energy
When a major set drops, we turn the front of the shop into a mini fan fair: countdown timer on the projector, silly interstitial trivia, and a finale where we slice the tape on the first inbound cases.
